Modern Plug-in Swing Arm Wall Sconce - Black Adjustable Wall Lamp for Bedroom & Living Room Reading

A lot of these type of lights are $700+ and I love that this is the same style. There was a slight flickering issue at first. First 2 weeks i'd have it on and it would flicker for a second or 2. This only happened 2-3 times and hasn't done it in a while. I wouldn't leave it on while im not home based on the reviews of cable issues.This lamp is BEAUTIFUL!! Exactly as described and exact measurements!The light was nice. However, due to the design it was challenging to use it in a functional manner.They look cool- but not practical for bedside lamps because of their length. I bought these as bedroom sconce lamps for over our side tables but they are angled very oddly showing the white underbelly of the lamp. The metal arms are extremely long and it stuck out over the bed as if a UFO over my head. Additionally, they only swivel, not 'bend' so I could not tilt the 'head' of the lamp down to hide the white color. Lastly, I could barely screw in the pieces because the interior wiring was very long and would push out thus not allowing me to tighten the sections sufficiently. In theory they would look cool- but not in practice.I finally had the time to sit down and try to mount this on my wall I drilled the holes and mounted the bracket then came time to assemble the light it turns out there’s so much extra wiring that is literally impossible to get the light to close successfully and safely.In addition to that if you want it to close successfully you need to cut a large portion of the wires out and re-connect them so that way the total amount of wiring is shorter and even then the safety hazard that that poses is significant. Find another light and please always read reviewsGreat price. Looks as pictured. Comparable quality to more expensive stores. I’m not that handy so I hired someone to install both sconces. Just the look I wanted for my bedroom. I would recommend.
