The stand arrived ahead of schedule, it was easy to assemble.I have a new 20 HP Honda outboard on it that weighs 130LBs, I wish I would have added a spacer on the wheel axel to help keep the wheels in alignment a little better but still like that it has 4 rear wheels. If I’m using the electric starter I have no worries about the stand being sturdy, but if your trying to pull start an engine I recommend having someone hole the stand just to be safe. Be sure to use it on a flat surface, avoid a sloping driveway.Great price for what it is, I’d buy again. Just like any product, use common sense when using and your good to go.If you follow assembly instructions, this stand will work wellGreat for little outboards doesn’t go together the best had to do some engineering but good stand for the moneyI regret having let this sit in its box for months. I could have saved a lot of people a lot of pain. This is the worst engineered product I have come across in many years:1. Its a bunch of open tubes with holes drilled in it. Where there are indents they dont match the angles the tubes meet at.2. It comes with one schematic and no instructions. The one schematic has everything on it and is labeled "Exploded" view, but it is the only diagram so whoever labeled it has no clue what "exploded" means unless they are talking about what your head does while putting it together.3. The bolts have a very wide very shallow flat head channel that is nearly worthless. After stabbing myself twice, I put the rest of it together using pliers to hold the bolt heads.4. The holes are drilled straight through the tubes, but they are not drilled on the angles needed to make things fit. The worst example is the hole drilled in the bottom for one of the casters. It is drilled about 15 degrees out of vertical, so the caster is cocked over to one side. Therefore, it does really caster at all and is probably taking a side load it was never designed for. No way I am putting 300+ # on this thing. I am using it to hold my trolling motor.5. Not a big deal, but the instructions call out bolts of 65mm and other bolts of 60mm but they were all the same length. No assembly instructions included, but I found pictures on the internet so I eventually got it together. But it is kind of crooked, I don’t know for sure but it seems like I got two of the same handles, whereas there should be a right and left. Ended up taking too much time to put together, it works, I’ve got my motor on it just fine, but I wouldn’t purchase again. There aren’t any others on the market, and this is sturdy enough. BUT the center of gravity is too far back, and it needs to be tilted a bit forward. I had to modify it by taking a couple inches out of the lower pipe and redrilling the screw holes, and few other modifications. There are no other outboard stands that work so I was glad to work this one out.I have a smaller 2.3 hp outboard motor on the stand. The stand is very top heavy and begins to fall backwards very easily. Looking at it it is tilted backwards. Either the back wheels should be at least an inch larger or the front wheels smaller. Gotta add weight to front of stand to help balance it out.First - this is not a 300# stand. I have 100# and the stand is already flexing hard. No way you are going to wheel around a 300# motor on this cart. Biggest issue - caster wheels are very low quality and coupled with the flexing tubing the wheels freeze. There is a fix - a plate connecting the 2 wheels so they are supported together - eliminating the lower cross tube. Assembly: It took some effort to flex the tubing to get all the pieces to align. Diagram was difficult to see the how the vertical tubes and wheel shaft connect. Bolts supplied used a very shallow slot in the head - difficult to use a screwdriver = I used a strip of steel that matched the slot width. Nuts were nyloc style. Hardware was vacu-packed to cardboard a plus. I got a very inexpensive cart that with a small modification is fine for a 10HP O/B The next quality jump is 3x this price. Opening for a new product is there. This stand is barely strong enough to handle my small 6 hp outboard. The motor is not stable enough for my liking when on the stand. Very disappointed. I would return but disassembly and repacking would be a pain. I will sell on Facebook and get what I can for it.There were no assembly instructions. Just a picture of assembled product with part descriptions. No order of assembly. Have not actually put motor on so can't speak to that yet. Also thought it said foldable but that is likely my error as i looked at several options.way easier to move and store my motor great for cleaning and service but hight should be ajustable my 9.9 weights 86 pounds as a senior its a bit hard to lift onto it and there is about 12 inches between the floor and the prop which isnt necessary but over all love itCant reccomend i have 20hp and dont feel safe with this engine on irIt's an odd set of fittings, all the nuts won't tighten, the tube on the handrail is so much shorter, very doubtful it will hold up to my 50lb Mercury 20HP outboard.
