Steers better one direction than the other. Really quick boat.daughter loves it, super high speed, great quality, wish the signal could extend a little fartherThe turning radius is far too large for a toy that moves so quickly. Because of that it is unable to function in a 16'X32' pool.First unit worked great for 10 minutes, then lost rudder control. I think a bit of water got inside, but it can't be helped because the seal isn't great. Once water gets in the rudder twitches uncontrolled and can't be used to steer. Sent back, got a prompt replacement. Replacement is a bit better, but sometimes loses rudder control still (neither lose prop control, though, prop always works correct).On the plus side, the range is excellent, battery life good, and its pretty fun and quirky.Works great. Easy to use and its a lot of fun for all ages. I recommend buying a few extra batteries as this will only run about 7-10 minutes per charge.Boat performed fantastically. My grandson drove it around all of us in the lake. Exceedingly fast. Happy to have provided him and us with several hours of fun.No matter what I do, can't get it to go straight, especially with varying speeds. Also the angle of corner on one side is much more than the other.This is my fav rc boat its so fast and its so cool with all the features it has including self ride!The battery is disappointing. There are other boats that are the exact same size, same speed, and multiple batteries that last over 20 minutes. You can't even buy extra batteries. It is kind of disappointing. There is one that looks exactly like this one, but is better. Apparently it turns itself on once on the water. Not intuitive.Lots of loose connections inside and bare wires. It worked once on the water. We can’t get it to work any longer.Pretty disappointing birthday present.So much fun! Easy to assemble and operate. Really needs a bigger or second battery. Low bat warning works well. Seems durable and is quick.So I got this as a fun little summer toy for the kids. First thing is the battery won't charge. Second thing is no matter how long it charges for it won't run the boat. Waste of money.
