It allows the strings to go on smoothly and orderly. One review said that it also is a pin puller, but the slot and thickness are not the right size to do that.This thing rocks. Works with drills and electric screwdrivers. Should’ve bought years ago!!If you're on the fence, just buy it. It makes changing strings 100x faster. I used to turn the tuning pegs by hand because I always misplaced my little Dunlop tuning peg tool. This is way better.What can be said? It definitely does what it's meant to do! Love the ease and quickness!!Winding and unwinding guitar strings when changing. MII added this tip to my Black and decker wireless screwdriver. I find it very useful when re stringing my guitar, and the fact that wireless screwdriver does not spin as fast as a drill, makes it easier to handle. It has a hexa type of connector. You can use it with a drill as well, just need to have extra control on the rotating speed.Fits drill well. Doesn't mark guitar.
