I’ve been searching awhile for some decent solar lights and have found a 5 star product. I shopped the big hardware stores and WM for a month but always walk away, too expensive and just not sure of the overall quality. I’ve searched through the many options online and here at Amazon, but most are too expensive or have negative reviews of lights that stop working or lights broken out of the box. But then I came across these lights!First, the reviews are outstanding with almost a perfect 5. There are a few reviewers that have taken away a star because the location where they want to use them doesn’t get enough sun. Cmon, be fair about it, “solar”, they need sun and I find that to be extremely unfair.The lights were packed well. Both the solar panel and light lens are covered with protective plastic that you peel off before using. Couldn’t be easier to assemble, but I’ve not installed as a wall mount yet, I’ll do that with 2 of them today.I’m going to tell on myself here because I think most all of us ignore instructions. In fact I only read the instructions after putting them together. Who needs instructions, right? Well, they do recommend charging 1-2 days before using them for the first time, but who can wait that long? I placed mine in the sun for about 2-1/2 hours before it got dark, and right before dark I moved them to their current locations, our above ground swimming pool and chicken coop. By the way, I just built the coop and need to put on the roof, so no chickens yet.They all came on and these lights are amazing. I have them all set on medium (they have 3 settings), and they are perfect. I have to admit I hesitated buying these because in the description it says (white), I wasn’t sure if they were talking about the color of the fixture or the color of the light, well, it’s the light, fixtures are black.The lights provide a great flood effect and I stood outside for 10 minutes admiring my purchase, I think I patted myself on the back! I went to bed a happy camper wondering how long they would work with such limited charge time. Well, I t’s now 4:20a (no, not that 4:20) and they are all still on, remember that’s after being in the sun for just a couple of hours.As a precaution I’d suggest installing the stakes before putting the light on top. I could see where someone could put too much force on the fixture if the ground is too hard.I am kicking myself as I caught these on sale for $45. I wanted to order 2 packs but hesitated. I’m going to order another set today but I’ll pay $55. They are without a doubt worth every penny. Cmon, that’s still just $9.16 each. You just can’t go wrong!I needed some lights to light up the back side of the garage. My dogs are scaredy cats in the dark and just refused to play back there at night.I didn't want to go to the hassle of installing electric power along the fence line. I really was skeptic of solar lights but I took the chance.I bought the 1st 6 pack to test them out. OH WOW!!! I am impressed. BRIGHT! VERY BRIGHT!! LOL.There are 4 setting. Off, low, medium and bright. I keep them on bright. They come on at sunset. I got up at 4 am and they were still on bright. Amazing. Make sure you let them charge initially on the off setting to get a full charge. I let them charge for 2 full days.I ordered more. Now they are everywhere. I love my backyard at night. But more so I never see my dogs anymore. They are playing back behind the garage now at night. LOL!.We’ve been using these for a month now and really like the outdoor light they provide. We have them placed to shine up onto the house all along the front. It adds some dramatic landscape lighting in addition to the stake lights lining the sidewalk. The lights have two different settings: regular and super bright. We just use the regular setting. They are easy to set up and not all of them receive a lot of direct sunlight to charge but this doesn’t seem to affect how bright they are. I don’t stay up all night to see how long they stay on but if they come on at 8pm and are still on at 2am, that’s good enough for me. Worth the investment.These solar lights arrived really quick and were very easy to install. We're using them to light up a pathway on the north side of our home that doesn't get as much sunlight as other areas around or home. I'm shocked at how bright they are even on the low setting and how they were able to stay lit all night long even when they are in the north side of our home where they don't get as much light to charge. They were definitely worth the investment and put my other solar sidewalk lights to shame.My early impression is that these are fairly attractive and very bright lights (cool white) for being solar, and a good price, but the lack of independent adjustability of the solar panel greatly limits the places and positions to mount them. Also, the angle of the whole light can only be rotated up or down, not swiveled to the side (when not on its stake). In order to angle the panel to receive sun, the light head direction tends to be in a lousy direction, at least for my intended use. Or their size protrudes into a stairs area. I think these are good for sticking in the ground or for sunny wall mounting, but not so good for posts and stairs. I may update after owning awhile.These solar lights were so easy to tap into place, and really brighten up our front lawn after dark. We originally bought them for safety reasons, but honestly they just make our house look so nice, the unexpected aesthetic factor was a great bonus. I’ve seen them on at midnight, though I leave for work at 6AM, and they are not shining at that time, so I can’t attest as to how long they stay on after dark. For the price, we’re very happy with them.So happy with the easy installation and high quality of these Solar Lights Outdoor I ordered from Amazon!I needed outdoor lighting for our new home, and these came highly rated and did not disappoint at all.Love the fact that they are solar and have three (3) adjustable light settings, depending on your preference. They make a huge difference in lighting up our front yard and our porch. I highly recommend this product for anyone needing outdoor solar lighting.Thank you! Lesli Johnson
