Dimmable LED Ceiling Light 60W, Modern Star Chandelier with Remote - for Living Room & Bedroom

Nice look and bright. Quite lean and very less happy between light and ceilingIt has different settings so it can have different tints. It also has really bright and dim settings. Easy to use remote also!It is so cool!! They company was right on! The first one did not work and they exchanged it no problem!I love this light all the differant modes you can have it on ,it also looks amazing when on at night we'll worth the money the pictures are in daylightWanted something for my sons room, but honestly this light would be fine in a kitchen or adults room as well. Looks really nice and is VERY bright! Love it.The light in my opinion is of poor quality and not worth the price. The light I had fitted was faulty as it would constantly flicker when turned on.Sent back for a refund.The instructions are awful. I searched the reviews to figure it out but without luck so here I am to help you. The company does link an instruction video in someone’s question on here which you can find but that didn’t help with the wiring so let me save you some time by explaining a few things here;You have to disconnect the wires from the little circuit board in order to thread them through the main white plate that holds all the lights, then the metal column attaches between the plate and the stars then reattach them (they can only go back in one way so you can’t reconnect then improperly so don’t worry).WIRING:They don’t colour code these properly so here’s what you have to do.The BROWN-ish wire is your LIVE wire and attaches to the red wire in your ceiling.The BLUE wire is the NEUTRAL wire and attaches to the white wire in your ceiling.I assumed the tiny white wire was the grounding wire and needed to strip it to attach it.*STRIP THE WIRES TO EXPOSE MORE METAL*In fact, I took some scissors and stripped both the live and neutral wires too because they didn’t have enough metal to attach properly inside the grommets and disconnected inside because they were so loose when I screwed the plate onto the ceiling mount and I had to redo the installation 3 times because of that, so save yourself the same issue and strip the wires back so you’re exposing more bare wires to get a good contact between the two.The light is incredibly bright, I can’t help you with the remote control, the instructions make absolutely no sense to anyone who isn’t a certified computer programmer / engineer. On and off is all we’re working with here which is a shame because I paid extra for the remote.I also highly doubt this passes the proper safety codes for our country, it’s too finicky and strange.Have two people install because it’s heavy and awkward and having another set of hands to help hold while your maneuver around the stars with the tiny screws will save you time and frustration.It looks cool but there are definitely some flaws to the design. My son loves it so we’re keeping it but I wish they’d redo the instructions by someone who’s a native English speaker as there is MUCH lost in translation and the user is left to figure it out on their own, which even for someone who considers themselves technically savvy and good at these types of things, I found myself scratching my head in confusion throughout the whole process.
