These lights are great! The only thing I didn’t like is that they didn’t come with a power block. Other than that they are awesome. I connected three sets and they are lighting my patio.The lights are quite nice and bright. Makes happy room.After returning another item like this (KNONEW LED Window Curtain Icicle Lights) because it looks scraggly and was way too bright for a bedroom, I am very happy with this item. As pointed out by other reviewers, the "thread" is coated with flexible plastic, which avoids the crinkled wiry effect. These lights are also much longer than the other ones I purchased which is much more alluring as they are floor to ceiling. The remote works well for me and I love the dimmable option since I am using this in my bedroom. I was afraid the warm white would be too yellow but it's actually perfect! In person it looks like white but with a slight warm tinge. It looks so pretty like little stars at night! Thank you :)Actual lights are fantastic. It’s nice soft plastic coated wire and not the thin stiff wire that kinks like on the edge of ribbon. The setting options are beautiful.The remote is touchy and doesn’t always work well. You’ll need a USB adapter plug if you want to plug into a prong outletI'm glad I read the reviews on this before I went ahead and hung the lights. There were some helpful hints.Most definitely DO NOT unravel each individual line of lights until the hanging is complete. You will have a difficult time and tangles. I did not unravel the lines until I finished hanging the whole set.I was hanging these in a somewhat tight space so it took me longer than I think it would if you have plenty of space. It was about a half hour for me while I maneuvered my foot stool as needed.I used 3M Command mini clear decorating hooks to hang the lights. I was searching reviews for suggestions on what to hang the lights with but couldn't find any. I waited until the lights arrived then decided on what I would use to hang them.The USB cord length is very generous. I was able to plug in the cord beside a bed and hide it behind a tall thin shelf in a corner, then hang the first strand of lights in that corner.Overall I'm pleased but I do wish I read about the length of the light strings as the strands are about 1ft longer than I needed.The remote is incredibly helpful. I'm just glad I don't have to fuss with changing batteries for the lights since it is USB powered.I purchased two sets of these lights and it is nearly impossible to get them running at the same time. The plug is so sensitive that if you bump it even lightly the lights turn off and then you have to play with it to get it working. You can't use the remote because both sets of lights are on the same frequency so if you use the remote it will change one and turn the other off.Trying to get them to light up at the same time takes a ton of patience and playing with the plugs. I get one to work then the other shuts off and vice versa. So disappointed. And even using just one is a pain because the plug is so sensitive they shut off if you touch it even lightly. If you want to use two of these together I would suggest finding a second one from a different manufacturer. Also, how well the light works depends on your luck. Last time I ordered this curtain I got a good one. My bunny chewed that one so I ordered two more and got unlucky with both.When I can finally get it all working it looks pretty. But it takes a good 5-10 minutes of playing with them to get it working. Eventually I will replace them with something else that isn't so frustrating.Cool white has a blue-ish hue. It’s not as bright as other sets that can actually light up a whole room (comparing to Brightown also on amazon; returned bc stopped working). This set has tiny bulbs that are attached along the string. Other sets have bigger bulbs that kind of hang off the string, similar to Christmas lights. It’s like wire lights so they’re a lot lighter & thinner. They come rolled up in the box so when you unravel it, the strings are wavy, but you can lightly bend them in place to make it straight. I think there’s 8 sections of hanging lights and each is about 12” apart. It looks a little more spaced out on the wall than I’d want. Each section has a plastic white curtain hook to easily attach to curtains. I was worried about this because I used it for my wall and I didn’t need all those visible white hooks. But, I think I can live with it. The lights still gives a pretty effect to a boring room which is all I wanted. When I turn it on w the remote, it doesn’t start flashing like a strobe light which is gr8. It stays on the last setting it was on. These lights work well as a background decoration or for some kind of project or display. I just hope they last long!
