Looks nice but cannot get the wiring to work. Every connection combo has been tried but the light does not work.Overall seems very cheaply made, I hope that it will last a long while.The instructions are useless, had to use trial and error and common sense to install.Needed to unplug each petal from the LED controller, then once the petals were mounted on the base, needed to replug.Very difficult when the controller is wired to the ceiling and the fixture needs to be held steadily while plugging each petal to the controller.Requires two people, one to hold it steady, without messing the petals, and the other reach above, plug each petal, and then screw the fixture to the mounting frame.Not easy if you only have one ladder, and even if you might have two, not enough room for one person to hold and the other to plug and screw.The person holding needs to do it very carefully not to mess up the petals, and needs to be fairly strong to hold the light up and steady for a long time.We nearly ripped all the thin electrical wires when lost control over the lamp...The light is pretty, fairly bright, though the warm color temp could be warmer (i.e. yellower), the cold color temp is way too cold, harsh light, useless for us.The color temp is NOT infinitely adjustable, there are two types of LED, cold and warm. you can either turn on just the warm, just the cold, or both. but there is no way, for example, to dim the cold LED and keep the warm brighter for an in-between setting.The brightness is also not infinitely adjustable, but the steps are small enough.It takes the light a fairly long time to respond to the remote control, so you end up overshooting your desired settings.The color temp is inverted (i.e. warm is cold, cold is warm) both in remote and phone app. leads me to believe that two wires were installed by the factory in reverse. but since it was so difficult to mount, I am not going to attempt and take it down to reverse the wires.There is no memory for the settings (color temp and brightness) when using the wall switch to turn on. if you want the fixture to remember the settings, you have to use the remote control.Since the remote is a must you'd expect that some provision to mount it next to the light switch will be provided, however, no mounting is provided for the remote, and we have no convenient location to keep it.No instructions were provided as far as the alignment of the petals. I initially spaced the outer petals event around the base, however, after installing the inner petals, I had to re-adjust the outer petals to make space for the inner petals between two outer petals.The three holes for the inner petals are not symmetrical with respect to the six holes for the outer petals. not a big deal, as I do not intend to be staring into the fixture...Would I buy it again for another room? probably not. But after all the effort invested in mounting it, I will not be returning it (unless it stops working)So this was partially assembled in the smallest diameter position and the mounting bracket to the electrical Box did not match any holes in order to mount the light to the bracket.Works OK for the kids bedroom but if it was in a room where everybody saw it I would’ve had to return it.The mounting bracket is designed in a square shape So it requires a square hole pattern for the light to mount to it ( right ) nope it’s five holes just like the five leaves -You have two options to mount the leaves either closer together or farther apart so 10 strategically placed holes - five on the outer edge and five towards the center in order to mount the light leafs.This allows you to reduce the overall diameter if you want to or make it as wide as It can.If you want to mount it to the ceiling which most people wouldn’t want to…You would have to drill four holes yourself in order to mount it to the provided bracket.So when you look it up at the light I now have four self drilled holes with little white caps ( they look OK ) but I have five unused holes which makes the light fixture look unfinished from the bottom.Going to try some little white stickers to go over them just to make it look right but I know they won’t match.Overall my granddaughter seems to like the light although I know looking at it has some issues.It has an electronic control box in the top so I would probably buy the warranty, if their manufacturing processes anything like the electronics I just wonder…Beautiful easy to installI bought two of the lovely items. They are awkward to put together, but one assembled and installed they work wonderfully.I did have an electrician install them. The mounting screws are difficult to get to, but he did it.I like being able to dim them and change the color.Instructions are very thorough, they are confusing and detailed, especially the wiring instructions. It is however bright.We wanted to brighten up our living/dining space, and we replaced our old dome ceiling light with this one. The electrician said it was tricky to put together and install, but once done, we love it. The electrician even decided he was putting one in his own home. He said it was extremely energy-efficient and one of the nicest looking he had ever seen. So you may have to hire someone to install it but it will be worth it.I love this light. This is how we installed in our basement . This in my she space sewing and craft room. It looks great with purple. I think any girl, young woman or mature woman would love it. It did take assembly. Was fairly easy to install.Me and my partner absolutely love this and it makes our room looks really nice and modernWir haben diese Deckenlampe für das Kinderzimmer unser Tochter gekauft.Die Lampe kam ganz bei uns an und die Funktion war nach Anbringung auch gegeben.Die Lampe kann in 3 verschiedenen Farbtönen eingestellt werden und bringt mehr als ausreichend Licht. Außerdem kann man einen Nachtmodus einstellen, der dann mehrstufig heller gestellt werden kann. Allerdings geht dieser Modus nur im blau-weißen Licht. Um diese Lampe wirklich nachts wenn die Kleine Bedarf hat zu nutzen ist sie auch im Nachtmodus zu hell, deswegen werden wir noch eine kleine Lampe dazu kaufen.Wenn sie erstmal korrekt angeschlossen und angebracht ist und man die Funktionen der Fernbedienung ermittelt hat, ist es eine sehr schöne Deckenlampe!Allerdings haben wir auch etwas zu bemängeln. Die Bauanleitung der Lampe ist wirklich nicht gut gemacht. Sie ist definitiv von den Zeichnungen her unheimlich undeutlich und bei einigen Dingen muss man raten wie genau alles zusammen kommt. Auch gibt es keine Anleitung zur Fernbedienung die erklärt wo was eingestellt werden kann. Auch hier gilt learning by doing. Die Verkabelung kann von Menschen die sich auskennen problemlos durchgeführt werden, allerdings ist auch ein Kabel dran was überhaupt kein Funktion hat und Steckplätze die auch keine Funktion haben. Wir gehen davon aus, dass es dabei um Universalteile für alle Lampen handelt, die für diese Lampe nicht zu 100% genutzt werden können werden. Leider wird das aber auch nirgends richtig erklärt.Also im Großen und Ganzen wirklich eine schöne Lampe wenn man erstmal ermittelt hat wie was zusammen kommt und funktioniert.This flower LED light took about 2 and a half HOURS of my life that I will never get back! It was a tragedy to install but to assemble it was straightforward. The holes were poorly placed relative to the petals so it was extremely difficult to attach the small placement nuts. This is definitely a two person job for installation. Overall, the look is nice and the different color provided on the remote is pretty cool.
