Ravenna 72" Water-Resistant BBQ Grill Cover - Dark Taupe for Outdoor Cooking Protection

I needed a cover for my grill and this one looked good and wasn’t too pricy. I got it and it the construction was great, fit well, the vents look like a good idea, the handles help me to get it on and off, and I wrap/click the secure attachment band at the bottom to the posts coming out of my wheels so the cover won’t blow away (my wife’s idea actually). My grill was well protected with the cover.Unfortunately, for some reason it started to degrade. It was cracking, falling apart, and opening holes on the sunny/exposed side of the grill (the degraded side is in the sun all day long, and we also get freezing temperatures with snow). I looked at the warranty (click on the link they supply and read the PDF), and I was within the warranty period so I contacted the company. With limited hassle (proof of purchase, some forms, pictures), they agreed to send me a replacement. I did get the replacement and put it on my grill today.I don’t know if the original one was defective or they all have an issue with the sun and exposure to weather, but they did honor the warranty, so even though the original one failed before the end of the warranty period, I did get a free replacement that should get me beyond the original warranty period. I like the protection, design, and now longevity of the cover. My only complaint is their statement: “GRILL COVERS with WARRANTY: Limited lifetime warranty”, which is misleading when you read the actual warranty in the PDF file. When this new one eventually fails I will buy another cover from them.
